Salt Life, while a national brand, maintains a strong regional presence in the southeast with its roots on the Atlantic coast in north Florida. Read how Salt Life looked to rapidly migrate from the aging Magento 1 platform that they were on to the newest version of Magento 2. They were looking for the updated security, rich features, improved site speed, and a higher level of integration performance that the Magento 2 platform offered them. There were several features from their Magento 1 site that were considered to be mission-critical to how they did business. So, with this in mind, these features had to be rebuilt with the Magento 2 architecture and Salt Life’s business needs in mind.
